Emily Jean “Emma” Stone born on November 6, 1988 is an American actress. She is the world’s highest paid actress in 2015. Her mother Krista Jean Stone, a homemaker, and her father Jeffrey Charles Stone, the founder and CEO of a general-contracting company. She has a younger brother, Spencer. As a infant she had baby colic ( episodes of crying for more than three hours a day, for more than three days a week, for three weeks in an otherwise healthy child).
As a child she suffered from panic attacks which caused decline in her social skills. She underwent therapy but states that it was her participation in local theater plays. She debuted at the age of 11 appearing in different stage production as The Wind in the Willows, The Princess and the Pea, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
She attended Xavier College Preparatory an all girl Catholic high school but she dropped after one semester to become an actress. She auditioned for every single show on Disney but ended up getting none. Between these time period she joined online high school classes and worked part-time at a dog-treat bakery.

She appeared in the film The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) , a reboot of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man series, she reprised the role of Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) . The film was a commercial success with global revenues of $757.9 million. She Stone voiced a role in the crime-based video game, Sleeping Dogs, which earned her a Spike Video Game Award for Best Performance by a Human Female nomination.
She also voiced a role in DreamWorks’ The Croods, an animated feature and nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. In 2013 she appeared in the American black comedy Movie 43. The actress reunited with Ryan Gosling in the 2013 American actioncrime thriller film Gangster Squad. She appeared in the black comedy-drama Birdman in 2014 as Sam Thomson. The film was the most successful film at the 87th Acdemy Awards.
Further her films are romantic comedy-drama Aloha (2015), mystery drama Irrational Man. As for 2016 she again reunited with Ryan Gosling fotr the third time in the musical comedy-drama La La Land as Mia Dolan an aspiring actress living in Los Angeles. She dated The Amazing Spider-man co-star Andrew Garfield but the couple split in 2015. According to Emma Stone she suffers from asthma which she discovered after having difficulty breathing while filming Easy A.
