“I’m your” singer Jason Thomas Mraz is an American singer-songwriter. He was born on june 23, 1977 to Tom (Tomáš) Mraz and June. He was raised in Mechanicsville, Virginia. He  graduated from Lee-Davis High School. Mraz attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City for about a year and a half then he returned to Mechanicsville. He took on a series of odd jobs. He then enrolled at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. Instead of attending classes, he headed west on a road trip that ultimately brought him to San Diego, where he stayed. Soon after moving to San Diego in 1999, Mraz became a roadie for the band Elgin Park. In 2002, Mraz signed a recording contract with Elektra Records and released his debut album “Waiting for My Rocket to Come” . The single “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)”  from this album became hit and made him rise as the singing star. His second album, “Mr. A-Z” was released in 2005. In 2008, Mraz released his third studio album, “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things”. This album became an international commercial success and “I am Yours” peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving him his first top ten single, and made its record of 76 weeks on the Hot 100. His fourth album is “Love Is a Four Letter Word.”This album is his highest charting album among all.

Mraz has two Grammy Awards in the record and received two additional nominations. He also won two Teen Choice Awards, a People’s Choice Award and the Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame Award.  He has earned Platinum and multi-Platinum certifications in over 20 countries. He made a tour in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and parts of Africa. His musical style is heavily influenced by Brazilian music.

The Jason Mraz Foundation was established in 2011, with a mission to support charities in the areas of human equality, environment preservation and education. Mraz was named the 2010 Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) Humanitarian of the Year. Jason Mraz is all about his melody which pleases the crowd and the humanity!!
