Jennifer Joanna Aniston is an American actress, producer, and businesswoman. she was born on February 11, 1969 to Greek actor John Aniston and American actress Nancy Dow. She was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She has two half-brothers, John Melick, her older maternal half-brother, and Alex Aniston, her younger paternal half-brother. She lived in Greece for one year. Then her family moved to  Eddystone, Pennsylvania, where they lived with her grandmother Stella Anastassakis. She and her family later moved to New York City. But when she was nine years old, her parents divorced.

An actor Telly Savalas, one of her father’s best friends is credited as her God father. Aniston enrolled in and graduated from Manhattan’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she joined the school’s drama society. Her role as Rachel Green on the popular television sitcom Friends (1994–2004) earned her a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. This potrayal has been recognized as one of the 100 greatest female characters in United States television.

Among many comedies and romantic comedies, acted by Aniston, her box office hits include Bruce Almighty (2003), The Break-Up (2006), Marley & Me (2008), Just Go with It (2011), Horrible Bosses (2011), and We’re the Millers (2013). Her role of Olivia in “Friends with Money (2006)”, was most critically appreciated one. Other includes “The Good Girl (2002)” for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. she received nominations for the Golden Globe Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress in “the drama Cake (2014).” Her other films include “Along Came Polly (2004)” and “He’s Just Not That Into You (2009).” In 2008, she co-founded the production company Echo Films. In 2012, Aniston received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She is one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. She has also been included in magazines’ lists of the world’s most beautiful women. People magazine named Aniston “The Most Beautiful Woman” in 2004 and 2016, and Men’s Health magazine voted her the “Sexiest Woman of All Time” in 2011. have not yet found their Bill O’Reilly, I’ am just glad science has provided a few other options.” Because of this statement she was called destructive to society and was accused of encouraging single mother trend. But Aniston continued to expand her career. She has been said to be very charming, funny, strong and independent women and it all went good for her.

Aniston dated musician Adam Duritz, actor Tate Donovan. She married Pitt, after two years of dating. She the dated Brad Pitt for two years and on July 29, 2000 in a lavish Malibu wedding they tied a knot. But on January 7, 2005,  she Divorced the actor Brad Pitt after 5 years of married life. There were speculation in the media that Pitt had been unfaithful to Aniston with Angelina Jolie, while filming Mr and Mrs. Smith. The divorce was so talked about that “Team Aniston” and “Team Jolie” T-shirts appeared throughout the country. Aniston commented on the divorce in a January 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, stating that “Nobody did anything wrong. It was just like, sometimes things happen.” Aniston subsequently dated actor Vince Vaughn and musician John Mayer from 2008 to 2009.
Now, she has been married to actor Justin Theroux since 2015.

Aniston has water phobia and also suffers from dyslexia. She practices yoga and a Budokan karate and transcendental Meditation practice.

Aniston has been supporting El Faro, a grassroots non-profit organization that helps raise money for Casa Hogar Sion, an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.  She also directed and starred in a video”It Can’t Wait” campaign to free Burma. In 2016, Aniston was honored by SmartWater for her ongoing philanthropic work for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at a special event in LA for the hospital. She said,  “We live an extremely beautiful, fortunate life being able to do what we get to do for a living. And so it’s a way of being able to be in a position to do something for people who are less able. It’s something that makes my heart smile.”
