Joshua David “Josh” Duhamel was born on November 1972 in Minot, North Dakota is an American actor and former fashion model. Duhamel stated that he did a bunch of odd jobs and won the title of Male Model of the year in an international Modeling and Talent Association. Duhamel started his career as an extra in the music videos for Donna Summer’s “I Will Go With You” and Christina Aguirlera’s “Genie in a Bottle”(1999).

In Late 1999’s Duhamel won the role of Leo du Pres on the soap opera All My Children and was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor. In order to pursue other acting opportunities he decided to leave the show. Duhamel landed in a primetime show “Las Vegas” in 2003 which ended in 2008. Along with the TV show “Las Vegas” Duhamel made his big screen acting debut in 2004’s “Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!” in continuation in the thriller movie”Turista” (2006).

Steven Spielberg handpicked him for the role of Captain William Lennox in 2007’s summer blockbuster film “Transformers” after watching an episode of “Las Vegas” in which Duhamel’s character had just returned from the war in Iraq. Duhamel reprised the role for the sequels, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, released in June 2009 and Transformers: Dark of the Moon, released in June 2011.  In 2010 he played the lead role in the film “When in Rome” followed by a touching drama “You’re not You” (2014) where he suffers from a degenerative disease ALS and “Lost in the Sun” (2014).

Duhamel started dating Fergie after Fergie appeared on Duhamel’s show “Las Vegas” with her band “The Black Eyed Peas” but a date took some convincing. “Her friends actually had to talk her into going out with me,” he confessed to Ellen DeGeneres in a 2007 interview. The couple wed on January 10, 2009. In 2013,Duhamel and Fergie welcomed son Axl Jack into their family.
