KRISTEN STEWARD

Kristen Jaymes Stewart born on April 9, 1990 is an American actress and model. She was born and raised in Los Angeles. Both of her parents work in the entertainment industry. Her father John Stewart is a stage manager and her mother is a script supervisor. As a little girl, she spent some of her early years in Colorado and has moved back to Los Angeles where she resided with her parents. Like many of L.A. teenagers spent most of her life in the beach, surfing with friends at her age, to enjoy the challenge of sea waves.

She was spotted by an agent after her performance in the elementary school’s Christmas play. She began acting at the age of eight appearing in films as The Thirteenth Year (Disney Channel TV Movie), The Flinstones in Viva Rock Vegas, The Safety of Objects and Panic Room for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award. Following year in 2003 she was cast in another thriller movie Cold Creek Manor, she was again nominated for Best Young Artist Award.
In the 2004 children’s action comedy movie Catch That Kid for the first time, 14 year old Steward was cast as the main lead. The same year she starred as Lila in the thriller movie Undertow and Speak based on novel, Steward starred as a high school freshman, Melina Sordino who almost stops speaking after being raped by her upperclassman. Her performance was widely praised.
In year 2005 she played Lisa in the fantasy-adventure film Zathura, next year 2006 she performed the character Maya in the movie Fierce People. Later in 2007 she was cast as lead role in the supernatural thriller film of Jess Solomon’s The Messengers. The same year she appeared in a romantic drama In The Land of Women along with Meg Ryan and Adam Brody. Into the Wild (2007), Jumper where she had a cameo appearance and What Just Happened (2008). She co-starred in The Cake Eaters, an independent film that has been screened only at film festivals.
Just 17, Stewart took on the starring role in Twilight (2008) which was based on a series of the same name written by Stephenie Meyer, the novel already had a huge following and the film opened to fans anxious to see the vampire romance brought to life. Steward continued as Bella continued in the sequels The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010). The final installments of the series start filming in late 2010. She was praised for her performance in Adventureland (2009) and Welcome to the Rileys (2010) and received best actress at the Milan International Film Festival.
And she took on the daunting task of playing hard rocker Joan Jett in Floria Sigismondi’s The Runaways (2010) alongside Dakota Fanning. Stewart received praise for her acting and musical performances and later won the 2010 BAFTA Rising Star Award. Stewart starred in several other movies. Camp X-Ray, her first film of 2014, was premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 1. Stewart co-starred along with Nicholas Hoult in Drake Doremus’ futuristic love story Equals which was released on July 15, 2016. Stewart reunited with Clouds of Sils Maria director Olivier Assayas to lead his next film Personal Shopper, a ghost story that takes place in the fashion underworld. The movie was released on March 10, 2017.
She dated Michael Angarano, her co-star from the 2004 film Speak, before meeting Robert Pattinson, with whom she appeared in Twilight. Stewart has been a part of several relationships since then, including time with French singer Stéphanie “SoKo” Sokolinski. In her February 4, 2017 appearance on Saturday Night Live, Stewart described herself as “so gay. In another interview, she said “it’s cool that you don’t have to nail everything down any more. That whole certainty about whether you’re straight or gay or whatever”, and then talked about being bisexual.  Since late 2016, she has been dating model Stella Maxwell.
