TAYLOR LAUTNER

Taylor Lautner born on February 11,1992 is an American actor,model and martial artist. His mother works for a software development company , while his father was a Midwest Airlines pilot.  He stated that when he was younger he was bullied in school because he was an actor. He commented, “I just had to tell myself I can’t let this get to me. This is what I love to do. And I’m going to continue doing it.

At the age of six he took up karate classes, a year later he attended  the national karate tournament in Louisville, Kentucky, where he met Michael Chaturantabut, the founder of Xtreme Martial Arts. He trained with Chaturantabut for several years, earning his black belt by the age of eight. He had a busy schedule packed with karate classes to football, baseball and taking up jazz and hip-hop dance.

Chaturantabut former member of Blue Ranger in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue advised Taylor to take up acting. Later he started to appear on several small film roles, television roles and ads and commercials. He voiced in an animated series such as Danny Phantom, Duck Dodgers, and What’s New, Scooby-Doo?. His official debut movie was The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D but the movie was minor success. Two years later, Lautner appeared in a lead role in the short-lived NBC drama, My Own Worst Enemy, portraying Christian Slater’s son, Jack Spivey.

His agency urged him to audition for the title Jacob Black for the film The Twilight Saga film series then he reprised the role in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and The Twilight Saga: New Moon. He won Favorite Breakout Movie Actor at the 35th People’s Choice Awards. He starred along side his rumored girlfriend Taylor Swift in the romantic comedy movie “Valentine’s Day” released in February, 2010. He was one of the youngest celebrity host on Saturday Night Live.

He has stated that he is drug and alcohol free.
